Job Overview

This role focuses on supporting payroll finance operations, statutory compliance, and employee benefit fund administration. The position involves working across salary processing, provident fund and pension management, taxation compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate will also assist in audits, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal financial controls.

Responsibilities

  1. Support end-to-end salary processing from a finance and compliance perspective
  2. Verify and reconcile payroll inputs, outputs, and financial data
  3. Review statutory deductions such as income tax and other contributions
  4. Assist in preparing payroll-related financial reports and reconciliations
  5. Process provident fund withdrawals, transfers, and settlements
  6. Support pension compliance activities and documentation
  7. Reconcile provident fund contributions and maintain accurate records
  8. Coordinate with regulatory authorities and internal teams
  9. Assist in gratuity calculations and retirement settlements
  10. Verify employee service records and eligibility
  11. Maintain documentation for retirement benefit compliance
  12. Support monthly and annual tax compliance activities
  13. Prepare and reconcile tax returns and challans
  14. Ensure maintenance of statutory records and timely filings
  15. Pass accounting entries and perform financial reconciliations
  16. Support audits with documentation and query resolution
  17. Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and financial summaries
  18. Assist in system testing, automation, and process improvements
  19. Develop SOPs and identify efficiency improvement opportunities

Requirements

  1. CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate or Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or Management
  2. 0–3 years of experience in finance, payroll, compliance, or taxation
  3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data handling
  4. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
